Anyone who wants to push their skiing up to the next level but does not want qualifications. It also is well suited to any seasonaire who wants a ski development programme to accompany their job.
We ask that you are a Level 3 or above on our ability scale. Generally having 4-5 weeks on snow prior to the course is enough, and the most important thing is a good attitude to improving and learning new skills. We can split groups into ability levels in Meribel. If you are unsure as to whether you are at the right level then ask one of our course advisors.
Yes, the course consists of 4 coaching afternoons a week, and instruction on what you need to focus on in your own time. This not only brings the cost down, but also means that the course is suitable for those working out in resort
There will normally be between 60-70 people in resort. Each training group has a maximum of six people to one Instructor, ensuring you get the best possible coaching.
Having completed this course you can expect your skiing to be at a very high level, so you'll be well placed to go on and take your instructor qualifications at a later date, and in time for your next season. The Basecamp team will be able to point you in the right direction with this.
