Snowboxx 2022 – A World Class Festival 

In the heart of the French and Swiss Alps, located between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc lies this incredible ski area, the Portes du Soleil [the Doors to the Sun]. A glorious, sun kissed wonderland in the mountains.

This ski area is one of the biggest winter playgrounds in the world, with 12 linked resorts on either side of the French-Swiss border with over 8m of average snowfall each winter drawing in skiers and snowboarders of all abilities from all over the world.

Portes du Soleil offers 600km of incredible skiing and 307 pistes: 33 black, 105 red, 130 blue and 39 green. It also has 208 ski lifts and 30 snowparks including the world renowned Burton Stash Freestyle Park.

The ski area is also home to the free multi-resort festival “Rock the Pistes” which has set the stage for some world-famous acts to perform on the slopes.  But of course, the pièce de résistance and the finale to the winter season and your course – the incredible Snowboxx Festival! A huge, show on the snow where world class music artists and international DJ’s descend (or ascend) on Avoriaz. Skim pools, forest raves and of course the famous Basecamp Sledgends event will finish your season with a HUGE BANG!
