Level 1 Results for Skiing and Snowboarding Instructor Courses
100% passed great going guys!
It was the last day today of the course and there were a few nerves from some of the peeps not being sure of how they went… when the results came out they were all overjoyed….this called for a celebratory drink or 5 in the GLC… after that and many more drinks at the house, the crew ventured in to the Village and found themselves in Maxx Fish, Longhorn, Tommy’s, and some very random places….some were seen to be swaying happily at the end of the night.

A big crew of us went to rip it up over in Symphony and had a great time in the bowls, Pei did an amazing job at keeping up with us on her ski’s for a beginner with only a few weeks mountain time under her belt, nothing like being thrown into the thick of the pow pow to learn quickly!! Smiles all round from everyone today!

Fire & Ice Show is back!
Tonight was the first night of the Fire & Ice for the season and they didn’t let us down, Skiers and Snowboard Pro’s throwing down some amazing tricks through the ring of fire…along with the Fire Spinners putting on a great performance with their poi and rods alongside. It was well worth standing out in the cold to watch it!
Afterburn is back too!!
Those amazing local boys The Hairfarmers were back playing in the GLC tonight as they will be every Sunday night of the season. The crowd was rammed in there and the campers didn’t quite believe me when I said this was one of the best nights of the week! By the end of the night they were well and truly sold on the talent of the Hairfarmers and vowed to be there every week! There were some jugs of beer won by Lauren, Jay and Mark early on which added to the festivities. Not long after that we were seen dancing the night away on our chairs especially Sydney…Mike was seen wandering on the dancefloor with Luke and Rob clutching their buckets…and again not knowing what time he got home…Amy can’t remember letting Syd in the door…good night had by all I think! See you there next week boys and girls.
