We were blessed with some gorgeous weather and perfect snow conditions which was excellent. This week was crunch time as it was time for the trainees to take their CASI level 1. Although all of the guys were nervous, the instructors really pushed them and worked hard so that failure was not an option. Everyone passed which was excellent, but some people were close to failing the teaching aspect of the level 1. These guys were told that they really had to kick it up a gear in order to pass their level 2. For celebratory drinks everyone made their way down the mountain and over to Fat Toney’s for some delicious crepes and a ‘few’ drinks.
