I’m going to be honest with you, setting out on a career as a ski or snowboard instructor is not getting any easier. It's easy to see why this career path is attracting more and more people, ride for free, live in some of the most beautiful places in the world, hang out with awesome people all day. You’re essentially living a permanent vacation, the kind that your average Jack and Jill will spend thousands of dollars on!

With more and more people realizing that you can go out there and live the dream you are going to need to get a leg up on the competition, and a great way of doing this is to take an instructor training course to give you the skills and connections to get ahead in the workplace. What better time to do that than over the summer when most people are sitting on the beach, aka a Summer season in New Zealand!

Our 10 week NZSIA gives you the means to finish the Summer and head straight into a Northern Hemisphere winter season ready to teach. The course will give you 9 weeks of training plus the time to sit the New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance Level 1 and Level 2 certification. The kiwi system is one of the more highly regarded systems in the world which makes it possible to go and work almost anywhere in the world with their level two. Japan, Canada, Europe, anywhere you go you will find lots of top instructors with the Kiwi certification.
           
The timing of this course could not be any better to help you get your foot in the door. Winter in the Northern hemisphere kicks anywhere from early November to mid December and with our course giving you the level 1 in August and the level 2 in early September you're right on track to get your cv out there and start booking flights!

Despite the NZSIA course giving you some of the best technical knowledge in the game, getting a job will largely depend on your connections. Luckily we have you covered there as well, your trainers and resort manager all have very prominent positions in ski schools throughout Canada, Japan, Switzerland, France and have done many other seasons all over the globe. Play your cards right and they will help you get into some of the best resorts in the industry. Getting a position in the southern hemisphere is next to impossible without a good hook up but with our course you can get in tight with the crew at Mt Raupehu, NZ’s largest two resorts and the southern hemispheres longest ski season. Why would they want to hire someone else if they already know that your awesome and you know the mountain inside out?
