Val d'Isere Week 7

Week 7! This would make it Shadowing week. Upon meeting the guys on the slope on Monday morning everyone look a little hesitant about what was to come. This was the week where the Basecampers would be following an instructor at the Sno Fun Ski School. They split up and were allocated an instructor and the group they would be following.

 

By the middle of the week the guys had fully settled into the role and feeling a pleasant sense of self satisfaction. Since they where following mainly groups of children 4-6 years old with it being the half term holidays they had crying kids, kids that wouldn’t do what they where told, kids that got cold and tired. Some clever tricks involving bribes and sweets were quickly learnt and even with all the problems kids can sometimes present everyone really enjoyed themselves and gained a real sense of satisfaction.

It also snowed at the end of the week. That put a smile on everyone’s face for the weekend.
