The Ski School Experience & Much More, Week 6 in Meribel

Week 6 in Meribel brought February Half Term, that most wonderful week of busy lifts, dubious ski carrying and all round busyness.

Not a problem here though as it allowed the BASI Skiers to get out with some real live ski groups to undertake the BASS Ski School Experience where a couple of Basecampers would assist and shadow the groups to get a really good idea of how it is to be a ski instructor. From talking to the guys it seems like they really enjoyed it and much fun was had, especially by Harriet who absolutely loved it.

The Performance Skiers took a different approach getting far out into the backcountry to find some nice lines and some off piste kickers.

With beautiful weather most of the week and afternoons off for the BASI Groups much fun was had in both the Folie and the Ronnie but the real crowning of the week was the Espace Silly. With the 3 Valleys lift Pass the Meribel Basecampers get 2 Free Days skiing in the Espace Killy (Val d’Isere and Tignes) so we got a couple of buses over and linked up with our fellows in Val and had a day of fun over there. Much fun was had by all. There will be a video to follow.
