Resort Summary

Mt Ruapehu offers the two largest resorts in New Zealand and your season pass will give you access to both of them. The two resorts, Turoa and Whakapapa, are on opposite side of the mountain, which is also an active volcano complete with a 40 degree crater lake on top. The resorts boast the most vertical in all of Australasia and the longest season in the southern hemisphere, mid June-early November most years, that’s almost a month longer than all the other resorts!
