Val d'Isere's got serious talent – FrostGun edition

It’s hard to explain what a fantastic couple of weeks we’ve had in Val d’Isere. In between the blue skies and incredible powder days, it’s hard to say that Val d’Isere hasn’t kept us entertained. This week we have had thousands of Scandinavian tourists arrive, which has filled the resorts slopes and town through every hour of every day.

Along with this, we’ve been treated to one of the most impressive displays of freestyle jumping in the form of FrostGun. A competition now recognized on the world tour, and sponsored by Red Bull, we’ve had a lot of Basecampers volunteering at the event getting close up to the jump (even on top of the jump) and meeting all the competitors. The evening’s final was simply one of the best nights we’ve all had out here, and it’s amazing to think that we have something so amazing on our doorstep here in Val d’Isere.
 

Looking at the weather forecast we can see that Sunday is going to be an incredible day after all the snow we’ve had, that twinned with an amazing day for some of the Basecampers who have chosen to go Heli-skiing, it just shows that not a day goes by in Val where you aren’t having an amazing time.
