BASI Level 1 course in Val d'Isere is nearly over…

What a week, with all BASI exams nearing the end its all very exciting and everyone can’t wait until level 1 is out the way. The conditions have been amazing and there is more snow on the way this week, we are all buzzing… bring it on!
 

This season’s had it’s fair share of snow and sun, but there’s not better way to start you BASI 1 exam than with fresh powder and sunshine for the week, albeit there has been some cloud cover to put the Basecampers through their paces. It’s fantastic to see all the BASI 1’s enjoying their exam week, most people don’t look forward to their exams, but where else in the world would you want to have an exam… there’s only one, Val d’Isere. With everyone trying their hardest, and enjoying their time with some world-class BASI trainers, there is no doubt we’re very confident of success for the Basecampers this week.

It’s been an absolute pleasure to see the performance groups enjoying the fresh powder on the off-piste. Everyone has been coming on leaps and bounds, improving with every day of tuition, and it’s now becoming hard to keep up with them!
 

This weekend we’re celebrating the levels 1’s finish to their first part of the course and it’s exciting for everyone. It’s been hard work for the students and they deserve a good night to relax after the week. Everyone is heading to a restaurant for a group meal and then we’re heading to Dicks Tea Bar to take over two tables and show the Basecampers what a good time really is. They deserve it. I can’t believe how fast this first three weeks have gone, but it’s been an absolute honor to have such a fantastic bunch with us. Here’s to another 7 more weeks of fun and hard work, I have every confidence that every person here will enjoy the rest of their stay and hopefully it will be the best time of their lives.
