Freeze Festival London 2011: The Boards, the Bands, the Beanies and the Babes!
As we look back at the weekend it’s clear to see Battersea PowerStation was the home of all mountain lovers this weekend, and Basecamp was there to document it! Relentless Energy hosted the gathering of new audiences experiencing innovative tricks, new bands, and old friends.
The music ranged from heavy rock to funk to electro pop, but ‘The Joy Formidable’ caused the biggest que of the event in the Relentless tent as shortly after ‘Everything Everything’ headlined the event before we all squeezed out the site to head home!
The atmosphere was reflective of being in a resort, après bars with Ski’s outside and people dancing on tables in multi-colour salopettes was a taster or what we are all in for this coming season!
