Over the past 10 years, we have specifically designed courses for basecampers that join us as part of a gap year or career break. Traditionally Basecamp Instructor Courses have been most popular with our Gap and Career Breakers. However, in recent years our Performance Courses have grown in popularity, and this got us thinking. THE ALL NEW – All Mountain Gap Year and Career Break Courses
Experience has taught us, that however much basecampers enjoy their season, backing it up with another season the following year is an unlikely reality for the majority of gap (off to uni) and career breakers (back to work).
With this in mind, focusing an entire season as well as paying more for the additional training and course fees to gain a level 2 qualification that requires follow up seasons to be truly worthwhile, is not always the best way to go and shouldn’t be the only option available.
Choosing between the benefits of training to become a qualified instructor or instruction that is more focused on the freestyle and freeride approach is a difficult decision.
